Deep Fried Lasagna Rolls!

Hello everyone, today I’ll be showing you how to make deep fried lasagna rolls!

You will need the following

  1. Lasagna Pasta
  2. 1 Pound of Fresh Ground Beef
  3. Ragu Sauce (or which ever you prefer)
  4. Mozzarella Cheese
  5. 2 Eggs
  6. Panko Break Crumbs
  7. Tooth Picks

Got everything? Good. Time to start!

First you will need to put a pot of water to boil for your lasagna pasta. You will also need to brown your seasoned ground beef.

  • Once your pasta has boiled & cooled lay them on a flat surface
  • Add your season browned ground beef along the middle of the roll
  • Add your Ragu marinara sauce, along with your shredded mozzarella cheese

Start from one end and roll them up tight. Place two toothpicks on each ends and chill for about 10-15 minutes.

  • Take your lasagna rolls, dip them in egg wash and immediately coat them in your Panko break crumbs covering every inch. Place them in freezer to chill for another 15-20 minutes

Preheat your deep fryer or pot of oil and place your rolls in, cook for about 5-8 minutes or until golden brown on all sides. That’s all there is to it! Let cool for a few minutes and enjoy!

Here is a quick video going over the steps I just listed.

  1. WHY do peeps want to tamper with perfection?
I can’t wait to try these, just as you have written this recipe!

    1. Why do people use the word “peeps” and expect to be taken seriously? Why do people state opinions on matters with which they have no direct experience, i.e. declaring something perfect before actually trying one.

This is question and answer time, right?

  2. I don’t have a deep fryer. What temp does the oil or grease have to be on and how long would I cook it? Thank you! ~ Cat

  5. Made these last night and used Raos’ Arrabbiata Sauce instead of Ragu and it was PERFECT. Gave it just the right “kick” of spice. DELISH! Thank you!

  6. What about baking them, would you still use the egg wash and if so how long would you bake them for? I would prefer to bake them rather then frying them Thanks
